2017 Historic Downtown Plano Association Event Calendar

Get ready for another year full of art, music, shopping, drinking and eating – lots and lots of eating – in the downtown Plano arts district. The Historic Downtown Plano Association (HDPA) has released its event schedule for 2017. Detailed information will be released prior to each event, but go ahead and mark your calendars now.

March 3

Chips 4th Annual Charity Poker Tournament
Chips is a night of high-stakes and entertainment benefiting the Downtown Plano Arts District.

April-December, second Thursday of the month

Downtown Plano Art & Wine Walk presented by Plano Magazine
The Art & Wine Walk is a sip and shop event where participants get to sample selected wines throughout the arts district while enjoying live music and curated art exhibitions.

April 22-23

Plano Artfest
Plano Artfest is a free community event that brings together the best creative talent North Texas has to offer, ranging from artisan craftsmen to street buskers. Saturday will see a return of the popular Chalk It Up contest.

June 4

Night out on 15th
Downtown Plano’s outdoor dining event features a 300-ft-long table down the middle of 15th Street where arts district chefs will serve a 5-course meal paired with select beer, wine and spirits.

Movies in the Park
Movies in the Park is a free, family-friendly outdoor movie series held in Haggard Park.

Steinfest
Steinfest is an Oktoberfest-style event that celebrates outstanding beer, great food and the right kind of polka music.
