The Grandscape development in The Colony is quickly becoming an entertainment destination in North Texas. Get ready for thrills and fast-paced adventure when Orlando-based Andretti Indoor Karting & Games opens in The Colony March 3. Named after the legendary racing family, this entertainment facility will not only bring high-speed, electric super karts to the area, but also intense Virtual Reality (VR) gaming, bowling, arcade games, ropes courses, unique dining experiences and more.
Located next to Nebraska Furniture Mart, Andretti Indoor Karting & Games will span nearly 100,000 square feet. The center will operate on a pay-as-you-play basis with no general admission fees for guests.
For the adrenaline junky, race your electric go-kart through the half-mile, multi-level track with downward spirals, multiple hairpin turns and straightaways to catch maximum speed. The classic gamer will enjoy more than 90 of the latest and greatest video, redemption and prize games in the state-of-the-art arcade. Daredevils can take the fun to a whole new level (pun intended) on an indoor ropes course towering several feet above the arcade. The tech guru of the family can geek out in the Hologate VR or the Hyperdeck VR sensory immersion experiences. For those that want to perfect their bowling technique, look no further than eight uniquely designed, black-light lanes that will allow guests to bowl in style.
With all the playing, guests are sure to work up an appetite, and that’s where award-winning corporate chef,Richard Pacilio comes in. Andretti Indoor Karting & Games will offer Asian, Italian and American cuisines, a seated dining area, a dessert bar and multiple bars. Menu items include shareables, salads, burgers, sandwiches, bowls, pizzas and more.
The facility will also offer more than 4,000 square feet of private event spaces to suit any corporate event, birthday party or special occasion.

Will children be allowed to drive the go karts?
Yes, there are separate tracks for children and adults. It’s up to the discretion of the staff, but kids usually as young as 6 can drive on the kids’ track. This was told to us by an employee on opening day.
