Plano will be the first Texas location for Beerhead Bar & Eatery, which owners hope to open in Lakeside Market in spring of 2020. Founded in 2012 under the original name The Beer Market, Beerhead Bar & Eatery began franchising in 2015. Locals – and cousins – Ashish and Anthony Patel own the Plano franchise location. Two more Texas locations under their ownership are in the works.

“Plano has grown so much since we moved here and it is continually growing. We wanted to be a part of that growth and bring the amazing Beerhead atmosphere to Plano,” said the Patels.

The menu of this beer-centric eatery will include dishes that pair well with tasty brews, like the Beer Brisket Burger, Pico Just-in-Queso, Pork Belly Mac ‘n Cheese and a large variety of pizzas and handhelds. A signature item, according to the Patels, will be the Barbarian Pretzel, large enough to share between four people.

The 4,300-square-foot restaurant will also include a stage for live music, a 2,000-square-foot patio and outdoor fire pits. The extensive drink menu will feature more than 400 beers and 50 rotating taps, all served up by a highly trained and knowledgeable staff.

“We are extremely excited to partner with Texas breweries and bring the North Texas flair we all love into our location,” said Ashish.

The owners plan to support local breweries, listing out Lakewood, Manhattan Project, 3 Nations, Pegasus City, Bishop Cider, Braindead, Community, Martin House, Panther Island, Deep Ellum, Four Corners, Trinity Cider, Peticolas, Texas Ale Project, White Rock and Outfit as just some of the beers they will offer in-house.

Frequent guests may want to join the brand’s Beerhead 365 Rewards program which offers benefits including birthday perks, beer-of-the-day deals and special events.

“We are excited to reach a new customer base in the state of Texas and are looking forward to see what the new year will bring,” said Greg Goodrich, cofounder of Beerhead Bar & Eatery.

Beerhead Bar & Eatery will be open 11 a.m.-midnight Sunday through Thursday, and 11 a.m.-2 a.m. Friday and Saturday. Lunch and dinner will be served daily, with a special brunch offered on weekends only.
