Best Bargain Shopping in Plano

Resale, thrift, and consignment shops in Plano have seen an uptick in popularity during the COVID-19 pandemic due to economic difficulties faced by many. This, compounded with the fact that it’s easy to find high quality clothes, décor, accessories and furniture, makes these stores appealing. Thrift shopping is also a great way to lessen carbon footprints as buyers reuse rather than buy new.

Maybe you love a good bargain, but aren’t quite sure the difference in types of stores. A resale or thrift shop sells donated goods and is more likely to be run by a nonprofit, or contributes proceeds to a philanthropic cause; a consignment shop resells goods and pays a portion to the original owner. No matter the type of shop, all offer gently used items at appealing prices. Below are some of our favorite resale, thrift and consignment shops here in town.

Thrift Stores

This store is also one of the least expensive in town, with discounts changing daily. Thursdays are the most expensive, with every item priced at $2. The price drops 25 cents each day. Wednesday is cheapest – every item in the store is 25 cents.
