Every Friday night in October from 6:30-8:30pm, The Shops at Willow Bend are hosting free concerts in the courtyard outside Crate and Barrel. The third annual Concerts in the Courtyard series is sponsored by California Pizza Kitchen, Brickman Landscaping, and InTouch Credit Union.
The shows are family-friendly, but that doesn’t mean peeps of all ages won’t enjoy the event. They’ve got a stage and lights set up—the whole deal—with a beautiful sunset as the backdrop to the performance.
So far, they’ve had shows by A Hard Day’s Night (a Beatles Tribute Band) and Warehouse (a Dave Matthews Tribute Band who sounded pretty dang close to their namesake, if we do say so). Upcoming concerts are ESCAPE (a Journey Tribute Band) on 10/16, Blaze of Glory (a Bon Jovi Tribute Band) on 10/23, and Briefcase Blues™ (a Blues Brothers Tribute Band) on 10/30.
Picnic baskets are welcome, but outside alcohol is prohibited. Food, soda, beer and wine are available for purchase at these cute little white tents they’ve got set up. Thanks, California Pizza Kitchen.
