Del Frisco’s New “Grab a Pair” Lunch Menu

I’ve found my new lunch spot! When you think of Del Frisco’s Grille, you probably think of long, filling dinners with a perfectly prepared steak and sides of rich, buttery veggies followed by a much needed nap. But at lunch, who has the time? Well, Corporate Executive Chef Thomas Dritsas knows that lunch-goers “want to have craveable dishes and pairings that inspire everyone to leave their desk and let us prepare and serve them lunch knowing that they will be back to work in a timely manner.” So, he’s enhanced their lunch menu to include some new, quick, delicious — and yes, affordable – offerings. They call it their “Grab a Pair” menu.

For $12, you can choose from a half of a Chicken Avocado Wrap (the chicken was oh so tender and juicy), two Fish Tacos topped with crisp, fresh veggies, a personal-sized Flatbread or one half of a Banh Mi sandwich (if you’ve never had one of these, you must try theirs – the meat is so succulent and the baguette is so fresh and crisp, it was a flavor explosion) with the choice of a fresh mixed green salad, Caesar salad or a cup of soup.

Along with the new Grab a Pair menu, the Daily Dish lunch feature has also been updated and now includes Wagyu Patty Melt and Frites on Mondays. Salad lovers can also rejoice because two new salads have been added to the lunch options. The first is an Heirloom Tomato and Burrata Salad (burrata is the creamiest mozzarella cheese you’ve ever tasted) made with balsamic vinegar, basil oil, and micro greens, and the second is a Chopped Chicken and Farm Greens salad, made with roasted pine nuts, crumbled blue cheese, dijon mustard vinaigrette and tender diced chicken.

Oh, and you have to try one of their refreshing non-alcoholic beverages (rightfully dubbed) “The Thirst Quenchers”: Strawberry Peach Tea, Lemonade and my favorite — the Hand-Crafted Cucumber Mint Soda. If you are more inclined towards an imbibed bev, The Morning After with Pearl Coconut Vodka is to die for. And I would be completely remiss if I didn’t tell you about the best Brussels Sprouts with Bacon I’ve ever eaten in my life. I know that some of you will say that nothing good can be said about a Brussels sprout, but my hungry friends, this rendition will forever change your mind.

With their new “Grab a Pair” lunch menu items, Del Frisco’s Grille provides classic favorites in mid-day portions, allowing those with busy schedules to enjoy a delicious lunch and outstanding service throughout the week.

These are just a few of the fantastic items we got to try:
