Dillas Primo Quesadillas Announces McKinney Location

Dillas Quesadillas, one of our favorite fast casual eateries in Plano, has announced plans for its third location. The restaurant has leased 2,900 square feet of retail space in McKinney, at the corner of Highway 380 and Hardin Blvd.

“We chose McKinney because we love the small-town feel, great schools, and strong sense of family and community the people have here,” said Kyle Gordon, founder and owner of Dillas Quesadillas. “We are very excited about bringing McKinney something different, and we know we’ll be able to staff it with great people who live in the area.” Dillas plans to add 40 new jobs to the local economy.

The menu at Dillas (pronounced dill-uhs after a scene in Napolean Dynamite) features an American twist on the Mexican favorite, with handmade fresh quesadillas, quality ingredients and made-from-scratch sauces and sides. Some twists on the quesadilla include Texas-style smoked brisket, bacon cheeseburger with fries, and a veggie Dilla with zucchini and portobello mushrooms.

Dillas opened its first location in 2013 in West Plano and its second location in Frisco in May of this year. The McKinney location is scheduled to open in early 2018 and will offer seating for 100, an outdoor patio for 20, catering, delivery, call-ahead and online ordering, and a drive-through for families on the go.
