Green Vine Market Coming to East Plano

As the east Plano area continues to rejuvenate, a new grocery store will be bringing even new options and more life to the area just north of Downtown Plano this April. Green Vine Market is a family-owned specialty market that will carry most conventional grocery store items, but will also offer unique items and services. It will be located inside the space that formerly held Terry’s El Mariachi Supermercado.

Local residents Nedal and Suzanne Hammad are the owners of Green Vine Market, and say they are opening out of their love for high quality food. “The food scene in Dallas has flourished and grown more diverse the last few years, which inspired us to open this specialty grocery store. Green Vine Market was born through a love [for] and commitment [to] exceptional food in a vibrant marketplace,” Nedal shared.

Green Vine Market will have a specialty coffee bar as well as a bakery featuring made-from-scratch pita, savory flatbreads, artisan bread and pastries. They’ll also have a state-of-the-art kitchen offering various types of cuisine and handcrafted sandwiches as well as a custom meat shop, plenty of farm fresh produce and an olive bar.

Nedal and Suzanne are members of Associated Wholesale Grocers, a retailer-owned cooperative that provides them with all the tools, products and services to compete favorably amongst other grocers.

In light of COVID-19, the planned mid-April opening date for Green Vine Market may be delayed. We will keep readers updated as much as possible.
