Legacy Hall: Everything New in 2019

Since its original opening in December 2017, Legacy Hall has undergone exciting changes. It was recently named second place in “Best New Food Hall” by USA TODAY and is continually evolving to offer guests new dishes and drinks. Diners can find food stalls with everything from shawarma to sweets and tacos to treats. Here is a round up of all the recent changes at Legacy Hall.

Velvet Taco

Local fave Velvet Taco will open May 13 in the old Glazed Donut Works spot. This delicious taco eatery will serve five signature tacos including the Spicy Tikka Chicken, Slow Roasted Angus Brisket and Cuban Pig. Guests can also indulge themselves on their savory elote or their red Curry Coconut Queso.

SusieCakes recently opened in the space previously occupied by Everett and Elaine Bakery. This all-American, home-style bakery’s specialties include frosted layer cakes in familiar flavors such as Southern Red Velvet, Six Layer Chocolate and Tropical Coconut.

Sea Breeze Lobsta & Chowda House

A crowd favorite, Sea Breeze Lobsta & Chowda House has moved down to the first floor of Legacy Hall in the previous FAQ stall. Owners Rick and Ryan Oruch, who also own Sea Breeze Fish Market and Grill in Plano, have perfected the art of the lobster roll.

Son of a Butcher

This nostalgic burger spot pays homage to the old-school burger joints we all know and love. Son of a Butcher recently opened in the previous Knife Burger spot. This classic Americana concept serves reinvented versions of burgers, shakes and fries.

Beijing Brothers

When Red Stix Asian Street Food left to pursue a larger brick-and-mortar location in Dallas, Beijing Brothers joined the Legacy Hall family. Beijing Brother’s menu features items prepared using traditional Chinese methods and authentic ingredients such as Hand Pulled Noodles, Peking Duck and Yangzhou Fried Rice.

Another exciting venture now open in Legacy Hall is Shayna’s Place. Shayna’s Place, a restaurant known for sandwiches, soups, salads and breakfast items, will continue to fulfill its mission to provide employment opportunities for adults with special needs.

Blush Wine Bar

Blush Wine Bar is now bigger and better than before. It recently expanded to offer patrons more room to enjoy more than 80 wines selected by an in-house, level-two sommelier who provides wine education and recommendations.
