Lyla’s: Clothing, Decor & More

Lyla’s: Clothing, Decor & More opened in downtown Plano on April 12 in the space formerly occupied by Southern Vintage Glam. Lyla’s owner, Meagan Wauters, a Louisiana transplant, started Lyla’s as an online store in 2014, and has since opened several physical locations, currently in McKinney, Grapevine and Rockwall.

Meagan originally started Lyla’s in 2014 so that customers could purchase “up-to-date fashions without breaking the bank,” according to Meagan. The new downtown Plano location carries a variety of fashion and home merchandise that includes much more than only clothing: She carries shoes, jewelry, wine bags, coffee mugs, candles, vintage furniture, handmade lamps, calligraphy artwork, Fusion paint, bath bombs and more. Maegan hopes to soon offer paint classes to customers to teach Maison Blanche and Fusion Paint techniques.

Lyla’s will host a grand opening the weekend of May 19-21 with specials and giveaways (including gift cards). Regular hours are 10am-3pm Monday, 10am-6pm Tuesday – Saturday and 12-4pm Sunday. Meagan hopes to extend her hours on Thursday and Friday starting in May.
