Nature’s Plate, the go-to vegan eatery, opens Jan. 10 in Preston Creek in Plano (8404 Preston, Suite 226). The plant-based, prepared meals concept with grab-and-go fare, as well as weekly meal plans, is the third location of the eatery founded by sisters Annette Baker and Marianne Lacko.
Additionally, Nature’s Plate kicks off Nutrition JumpStart, a four week program running Jan. 21-Feb. 17. $250 per week includes an initial assessment of needs and 30-minute individual counseling with plant-based registered dietician Rhyan Geiger, RDN and vegan meals and snacks provided by Nature’s Plate. Deadline to register is Jan. 11.
Nature’s Plate started as a small business venture in 2011 and quickly expanded to a storefront and kitchen in East Dallas offering meals, snacks and desserts to-go and weekly meal plans. The Plano location is also open seven days a week.
Driven to make plant-based, whole foods convenient and accessible as well as tasty and satisfying, the business uses all vegan, non-GMO, whole grains and mostly organic ingredients. Gluten-free, nut-free, soy-free and no added oil options are always available.
Based on the belief that whole, plant-based foods are a big part of the answer to society’s biggest issues – including obesity, heart disease, cancer, diabetes and general lack of health and vitality, Nature’s Plate make it easier to add real food to diets while cutting out processed, factory-farmed items.
Additional weekly pick up locations are available in Frisco at Salubrious Juice (10990 Rolater Rd.) and at Oak Cliff’s Local Press and Brew (1605 N. Beckley).
Plano hours of operation are Monday – Thursday 10am – 7pm, Friday 10am – 6pm, Saturday 10am – 5pm and Sunday 11am – 7pm.Nature's Plate >
