Original ChopShop Opens at The Shops at Legacy

Original ChopShop, a neighborhood eatery crafting “Just Feel Good Food” from whole ingredients, opened its second DFW location on September 19 at 5717 Legacy Drive #180, making this its ninth restaurant location overall. The brand got its start in Phoeniz, Ariz.

Original ChopShop seeks to be a warm, welcoming place where guests can enjoy flavorful food made from scratch with real, quality ingredients. The customizable menu contains a variety of dietary-friendly items for adults and children such as gluten-free, dairy-free and soy-free foods.

Not only does Original ChopShop offer handcrafted salads, sandwiches, superfruit bowls and fresh-squeezed juices, but they also offer protein bowls, a core component to their menu. With the protein bowls, they seek to provide guests with three key essentials: greens, grains and a protein.

The new Shops at Legacy location conveys the brand’s signature relaxed atmosphere through sunny accents, distressed wood and an outdoor patio. It will be open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner, accommodating up to 84 guests.

Jason Morgan, CEO of Original ChopShop, said they are thrilled to continue sharing their cuisine with North Texas residents. “Our handcrafted food fuels active lifestyles and busy schedules and is a perfect fit for the Plano community,” said Jason.

Giving back to the community is a cornerstone of the Original ChopShop brand, especially through efforts supporting children’s health and recovery. Original ChopShop has established a local partnership with Children’s Health Dallas and plans to give an annual $5,000 contribution to the hospital through various initiatives.

Original ChopShop has plans to open two additional locations in the DFW area by the end of the year, including another location in Plano at Park and Preston as well as one Dallas at University Park.
