North Texas Performing Arts’ Ribbon Cutting & Grand Opening of Willow Bend Center for the Arts
North Texas Performing Arts (NTPA), home to Plano Children’s Theatre, invites students, actors, patrons, friends and the general public to two exciting events introducing its brand new facility, the Willow Bend Center for the Arts.
Thursday, Dec. 7 at 4:30pm / Ribbon Cutting
The Ribbon Cutting will be sponsored by the Plano Chamber of Commerce and feature city leaders, the construction partners, sponsors, patrons and friends.
Friday, Dec. 8 at 5:30pm / Grand Opening
The Grand Opening will focus on thanking the volunteers and patrons that have made possible this facility, with a reception at 5:30pm and program at 6pm. Immediately following is the opening night of “Scrooge the Musical,” an NTPA tradition now in its 7th year. Purchase tickets here.
Drinks and hors d’oeuvres will be served at both events.
Willow Bend Center for the Arts is located on the second floor inside The Shops at Willow Bend, near Dillard’s. Comprised of almost 26,000 square feet of space, this complex will be the largest performing arts center for youth in the country. The new home of North Texas Performing Arts and Plano Children’s Theatre will feature two mainstage theaters, two black box theaters, two dance studios, rehearsal and practice studios, and set-build and costume space.
