Entertainment producer Brandon D. Campbell announced the launch of Plano Fashion Week™ (PFW) during October 23-29, 2017. The mission of PFW is to bring people and communities together in various ways, and promote designers and artists. Also, it will increase awareness and encourage economic growth and development in the Plano fashion community. It will feature designers’ fall/winter fashions, expositions and exclusive events. Store buyers, fashion journalists and style trendsetters are invited to attend.
There is going to be a variety of fashion presented on the runway from high end, couture, everyday wear to activewear. Featured fashion will include Built in Beauty (Plano), iME (Little Rock), Lauren James (Plano), Runway Seven (Allen), Scout & Molly’s (Plano) and Small Pockets (Dallas). The ultimate goal for the evening is to bring everyone together.
In 2009, Campbell founded Little Rock Fashion Week, and in 2014 he created Oneofakind Baton Rouge Fashion Week. LRFW and OBRFW have been attended by fashion/entertainment executives from Los Angeles, New York, and Miami. Clothing collections featured at the shows have been sold in boutiques nationwide, worn by celebrities, and showcased at New York’s Fashion Week. Models have gotten booked for paid opportunities for magazines, TV and events. LRFW and OBRFW also support several charities and provide countless opportunities for youth and those less fortunate. At OBRFW 2017, a portion of the proceeds raised was donated to OBRFW past models and designers who were negatively impacted by the 2016 floods in Baton Rouge. It’s Campbell’s vision that his PFW can have a similar influence on North Texas communities.
