“Scrooge the Musical” presented by North Texas Performing Arts

Join North Texas Performing Arts for a Plano holiday tradition in its 7th year. Ebeneezer Scrooge has spent all his life accruing gold and allowing his loved ones to slip through his hands. On Christmas Eve 1843, Scrooge is given the gift of one more chance to redeem himself for mankind and for his soul. This musical adaptation of the Dickens classic “A Christmas Carol” reminds us to love one another and to hold each other close.

This year’s production again features the special Merry Christmas Celebration including a “last chance” for children to meet with Santa and Mrs. Santa at Santa’s Workshop before each show. Each show also begins with favorite Christmas Carols sung by the cast and audience. Special after-show activities include photo opportunities with Scrooge and Tiny Tim. Christmas treats and trinkets will be available before the show and at intermission.

“Scrooge the Musical” opens in the new Willow Bend Center for the Arts on Dec. 8-10.  The show then moves to the Courtyard Theater in downtown Plano for the second weekend Dec. 15-17.

The Willow Bend Center for the Arts is located on the upper level of The Shops at Willow Bend near Dillard’s.
