There’s something in the water! The popular Canadian concept, Shark Club Bar & Grill, officially opened its first U.S. location in Plano, Texas on Friday, Aug. 2.
Shark Club will bring Plano residents a sports-centric destination with quality food and beverage. With 13 locations across Canada and the United Kingdom, Shark Club Plano encourages guest to get loud and join in on the electric atmosphere.
Dallas’ hockey fans are already familiar with Shark Club’s owner, Tom Gaglardi, also owner of the Dallas Stars. The Plano location features the Victory Green throughout the design, boasting a live scoreboard specifically for Dallas Stars games.
Whether it’s hockey, football, baseball, fight nights or more, Shark Club takes “sports bar” to the next level. With over 40 TVs, two 20-foot seamless HD media walls and one of the largest custom designed ROE LED video wall systems in the state, sports lovers can watch the game, including a sports ticker, at every angle. The space also includes an outdoor patio, a semi-private 62-person event space and a game room featuring foosball, table hockey, shuffleboard and skee-ball.
Along with being the new DFW sports headquarters, the purveyor will offer a chef-curated menu balancing sports bar classics with signature items.
Signature dishes include options like the Shark Burger served fully loaded with bacon, cheddar, sautéed onions and mushrooms, the Adult Mac & Cheese with bacon, jalapeños, a blend of cheeses, breadcrumb crust and spicy ketchup or the Spaghetti & Meatballs. Those looking for bar favorites will find favor with the Chicken Wings, Mini Mac Sliders, or the wow-worthy Keg of Nachos big enough to fill a keg top!
Along with lunch, dinner and late-night options, Shark Club will host a boozy brunch perfect for an early morning weekend kickoff. Sports fans can enjoy dishes like the Banana Fosters French Toast, Bacon & Egg Burger or the Big Texas Breakfast with eggs, pancakes, bacon, smoked sausage and tater tots. Wet your whistle with signature cocktails like the Electric Arnold with Deep Eddy Tea and Lemon Vodkas, served frozen, or sip on the classic Bloody Mary with Habañero Vodka and Zing Zang.
Along with a list of signature cocktails, front and center is Shark Club’s extensive draft beer collection with 22 drafts featuring local favorites like Community Mosaic, Four Corners El Chingon, Deep Ellum Brewery Dallas Blonde, Tupps Citra Pale, Franconia Irish Red and Real Ale Hans Pils.
