The Shops at Legacy: A Guide to What’s Opening in 2017

Where are The Shops at Legacy?

Northeast and southeast corners of Legacy Drive and Dallas North Tollway.

What’s there?

Located in Legacy Town Center, The Shops at Legacy boasts more than 100 tenants that include retailers, eateries, bars, services such as financial planning and fitness boutiques, and the Angelika Film Center, devoted to independent and specialty film.

When construction began on the master planned 180-acre Legacy Park development in the late 90s, Plano citizens had no idea it would grow to encompass so much more than just a business park. The Shops at Legacy could be considered a predecessor to Legacy West. Fehmi Karahan, CEO and president of The Karahan Companies, is the developer of The Shops at Legacy.

What’s coming?

Front Burner Restaurants will be opening The Keeper, a seafood restaurant inspired by the cuisines and cultures of the Pacific Rim, this summer across the street from one of their other concepts, Mexican Sugar. Clothing boutique Scout & Molly’s opens this spring.

Harder Concepts, the team behind Scruffy Duffies and Ringo’s Pub, have partnered with rock and roll chef Patrick Stark to create The Brixton, a unique experience for food and music lovers, slated to open this spring on the south side of Legacy Drive.
