Steinfest 2016

Bust out the lederhosen, folks, it’s time for Plano’s Steinfest! This Oktoberfest-style event brings all the best that German culture has to offer to Plano. You’ll find amazing food, German beer, hearty oompa music, beer, dancing, beer, shopping–and did I mention the beer?

Steinfest happens on Saturday, October 29 from 10am to 10pm in the Downtown Plano Arts District. You’ll be thoroughly entertained all day with a packed schedule that includes a Swiss Alphorn Quartet, the Alpine Dancers Edelweiss, a Stein Racing Contest, a Masskrugstemmen (Strongman) Competition and––that’s right––the chance to twirl your partner ‘round and ‘round to the melodic rhythmic thumping of the Chardon Polka Band. A Weiner Dog Fashion Show will be held (any furry friends may compete), and 1st, 2nd and 3rd places will be awarded by judges from SPCA Second Chance.

You’ll be busting buttons in no time with so much to eat and drink. So go enjoy the wunderbar selection and viel spass! (Or as we Texans say, “Have a great time!”)
