Taverna Rossa is planning a pretty big week to celebrate five years of serving the Plano community. Founders Preston Lancaster and Tony Smith opened the restaurant in 2013 as a place where friends and families could hang out together and enjoy great pizza, cold beers and live music. It has since become a popular neighborhood hangout, with a second location in Southlake.
The team at Taverna Rossa wants to thank Plano residents for supporting the restaurant with five days of special offers Nov. 6-10. “We are here and thriving because of the support of our wonderful guests over the last five years,” said 33 Restaurant Group Marketing Manager Shannon McCarthy.
The five-year anniversary celebration will include these special events:
Tuesday, November 6
Beginning at 4pm, Taverna Rossa is starting off the celebration with Ladies Night and offering 50% off all glasses and bottles of wine. At 6pm, Painting With a Twist will be setting up shop on the patio, leading guests through a guided painting class. Taverna Rossa will provide a wine and pizza buffet for participating painters. Tickets are $80 per pair or $40 individually. Contact to reserve your spot.
Wednesday, November 7
It’s Whiskey Wednesday at Taverna Rossa. From 5pm to close, they will be offering $15 EH Taylor Bourbon Flights along with $5 one-topping pizzas. Pizza will be available 3pm to close and is limited to one pizza per every two guests.

Guests will vote for their favorite beer and the winning brewery gets a permanent tap for the year of 2019.
Friday, November 9
Community Beer Company is taking over the Taverna Rossa bar and will have a variety of their beers on tap, including their BBA Legion. For every $50 guests spend at Taverna Rossa this evening, they will receive $10 Happy Anniversary Certificates that are redeemable at the next dine-in visit.
Saturday, November 10
For the last day of the five-year anniversary celebration, Taverna Rossa is having a Kegger Party. Think college football, corn hole tournaments, $5 burgers, hot dogs and brats, live music and, of course, a biergarten on the patio with Martin House Brewing Co. kegs. It’s a celebration you won’t want to miss. To make the deal even sweeter, kiddos under 12 get one free kids meal.Taverna Rossa >
