Tyler Perry Coming to Plano to Promote His Movie “BOO 2! A Madea Halloween”

Megastar Tyler Perry will be visiting Cinemark West Plano on Wednesday, Oct. 4 to promote his new movie, “Tyler Perry’s BOO 2! A Madea Halloween,” which he wrote, directed, produced and – of course – stars in as the character Madea. In this sequel, Madea, Bam and Hattie venture to a haunted campground, and the group must literally run for their lives when monsters, goblins and the bogeyman are unleashed.

Perry will walk the red carpet and grant interviews at approximately 7 p.m. before introducing the 7:45 p.m. advance screening of the movie. The public may come out to see Perry walk the red carpet, but only guests with passes may attend the movie screening.

The movie releases in theaters nationwide on October 20. It is rated PG-13 for sexual references, drug content, language and some horror images.

We have received a limited amount of passes for Plano Magazine readers!

Passes are first come, first served. It is encouraged that guests arrive early.
