L&T Technology Services (LTTS) just opened an Engineering Design Center right here in Plano – and it’s bringing more than 350 high-skilled jobs with it.
The ribbon-cutting event, held June 26 at LTTS’ new Plano Design Center on Dallas Parkway, was packed. City leaders, global tech execs and Sen. John Cornyn gathered to celebrate the launch. The new center will focus on topics like AI, digital engineering, smart manufacturing systems and cybersecurity.
Right now, the facility has space for about 100 engineers, but it’s designed to grow fast, aiming to employ over 350 people as operations expand. And this isn’t just a typical office, according to a press release. LTTS is rolling out next-level innovations like real-time railway inspection tools, AI-powered smart city platforms, and tech that could transform everything from factories to hospitals.
Mayor of Plano, John B. Muns remarked, “This center represents innovation at its finest and marks an important step forward for our region. With 100 professionals to start and plan to grow to over 350 engineering jobs, LTTS is not just creating opportunities, they are helping shape the future of advanced technology development and smart manufacturing. I thank LTTS for investing in North Texas and for contributing to a brighter, more innovative future.”
