Forbes’ 2026 list of America’s Best Employers by State was recently released, and Plano’s Toyota Motor North America, Tyler Technologies and the City of Plano ranked in the top 100.
The annual rankings, in partnership with market research firm Statista, surveyed 1,365 organizations that have at least 500 employees in atmosphere and development; salary and wages; image and reputation; company culture; working conditions; and workplace safety and equipment.

- The City of Plano – #72 (also ranked in 2019, 2022, 2023 and 2025)
- Tyler Technologies – #92
Eleven cities across the country made the Best Employers list, including the cities of Austin, El Paso, Indianapolis, Miami Beach, Oklahoma City, Phoenix, Raleigh, Seattle, Tacoma and Virginia Beach.
