Randy Moir
Dr. Randy Moir has worked in the area of interdisciplinary historic preservation for over 40 years. Randy has a Bachelor of Science in Geology, and a Masters and Doctorate in Anthropology, specializing in Archaeology (Southern Methodist University). He has worked as a professional in cultural and archaeological resources for several major universities (Brown University, Harvard University, University of Massachusetts and Southern Methodist University) and has supervised over 75 projects since 1975. He has authored over 80 publications on historic and archaeological topics and received the Texas Award for Historic Preservation in 1987 for exemplary scientific contributions to cultural resources investigations. Since 1992, Randy has provided customized interdisciplinary historic preservation services that have included formal National Register of Historic Places nominations and assessments.
