Last Saturday, the Douglas Visions Committee hosted its Back 2 School Bash at the Boys and Girls Club in the Douglass Community. Families in attendance receive backpacks filled with school supplies as well as free haircuts, dental screenings, and masks They also had the opportunity to sign up for honor society, tutors and stress management programs.
Representatives from the Plano ISD, Plano Police and other local organizations were on hand offering information and assistance to those interested.
The Douglass Visions Committee is a local nonprofit dedicated to supporting Plano’s Douglass Community. Since its 1990 founding, the organization has worktiend to improve communities through free and low-cost programs addressing areas of need.
