After 35 years and four DFW locations, BT Furnishings is closing all of its stores and discounting all products.

BT Furnishings, an independent furniture retailer with locations in Dallas, Garland, Arlington and Plano, is going out of business, closing all stores and leaving discounts in its wake.

After 35 years of business in the Metroplex, the closure of all four locations is bringing in liquidation sales open to the public starting on March 14.

The furniture store garnered a reputation for having a fun, non-commission sales staff and for the business’ active participation in local charities like the Heritage Farmstead Museum, Church World Services, Resettlement Asylum of North Texas, Habitat for Humanity and Dallas Fire-Rescue.

“Across all four showrooms, an impressive selection of stylish furniture, mattresses and accessories for every room in the home will be deeply discounted at prices never offered before by the retailer, including famous name brands such as Ashley Furniture, Leather Italia, Steve Silver and Wellspring Mattresses,” BT Furnishings said in a news release. “The public is encouraged to shop early for the best selection.”

BT Furnishings’ Plano location can be found at 1300 Custer Road and is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily.
