Plano-based Pizza Hut selling for $2.7 billion

Yum! Brands, the company behind Pizza Hut, KFC, Taco Bell and Habit Burger & Grill, is selling Pizza Hut (aside from its Mainland China holdings) to LongRange Capital for $1.5 billion.

LongRange Capital owns 24Hour Fitness, Alpin Unlimited, Bakkavör, Batesville and US Synthetic.

The sale is expected to close in the third quarter of 2026.
