Event Details

Based on the 1908 novel by female author L.M. Montgomery, Anne of Green Gables, tells the story of a head-strong, independent orphan who positively impacts the lives of those around her with her endless courage and acts of goodwill.  Experience a day in her life as a student in the one-room school house, visit Pitman Creek and take a step into the untamed nature that inspired Anne and fueled her creativity.  Take your turn at chores on the farm, just as Anne had to do, and take part in a community gathering, complete with music and dancing (socially distant, of course).  Create your own name plate using Victorian lettering techniques.

Time

(Tuesday) 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Location

The Heritage Farmstead Museum
