Plano Art Association (PAA) is hosting its first Small Works Members Show. Thirty members of the association are participating as exhibitors.
The exhibit is both a physical and virtual show. The virtual show can be viewed online here.
The physical show can be viewed at PAA’s small gallery inside Rail Station Studios at 1013 15th Place Suite 101 in Downtown Plano. Hours are “by chance” or by appointment. Email firstname.lastname@example.org to schedule an appointment.
“This show represents the broad array of art types and styles created by PAA members. We take pride in the diversity of artwork our very talented membership creates,” said Karl Keese, president of Plano Art Association. “We normally feature a number of exhibits and competitions throughout the year. However, during this season of Covid-19 we have been restricted in our ability to stage multiple exhibits. Hopefully, this exhibit will help keep PAA’s presence felt as an important art force in the Plano community.”
Linda Smith, Jan Lorine and Lana Browne of Three Birds Gallery served as judges to determine cash prize winners in three art categories: 2-Dimensional, 3-Dimensional and Photography.
Some pieces in the show are available for purchase.
Plano Art Association is a membership association that has served the artists of the Plano community for more than 50 years. See more information at www.planoartassociation.org
