The Storehouse Community Center celebrated 2026 Volunteer of the Year Denny Mosseller as he threw the first pitch at a recent Frisco RoughRiders game.
“Our partnership with Golden Cross Academic Clinic first began in 2022, enabling us to refer our neighbors to healthcare services at their clinic as well as to provide health education classes through our Academy education program,” said Candace Winslow.
The annual award is given to a volunteer who goes above and beyond, sticking out among the 2,000 others that work with The Storehouse.
Kathy Jascott has been volunteering at the Joseph’s Coat Clothing Closet since its inception, with over 1,000 hours of volunteer work.
The additional van, operational equipment & other uses of the grants will assist with The Storehouse’s Seven Loaves Food Pantry and Academy.
The car show will have raffle prizes, food vendors and an award ceremony for the cars in various categories at 2 p.m.
