If you missed it last time, now is your chance to experience a free, intimate tiny train concert right here in Downtown Plano. On Monday, June 10, renowned blues musician Anson Funderburgh will serenade Plano on Railcar 360 at the Interurban Railway Museum from 9:30-10:00 am.

Anson actually grew up in Plano, graduating from Plano High School in 1973. During his childhood, he taught himself how to play guitar and claims that his years growing up in Plano made him the man he is today.

This Plano-native and blues mastermind has been nominated ten times for a Blues Music Award (BMA), the highest honor in the world of blues music.

If the tiny train concert on June 10 whets your appetite to Anson’s music, you can also check him out on June 15 from 7:30-10:30 pm at a free concert in McCall Plaza.
