  • Celebrate Bee Day (All Ages)

Buzz into a day of discovery as Plano Public Library celebrates Bee Day. Through hands-on activities and interactive learning stations, families can explore the fascinating world of bees, from pollination and bee anatomy to the math behind honeycombs. Learn how bees help our environment and discover simple ways to make your yard more pollinator-friendly.

  • Prepare for College with Confidence (Ages 16+)

Heading to college this fall? Learn practical strategies to stay safe on campus and protect yourself in everyday situations. Presented by the Plano Police Department, this program covers personal safety, property protection, identity theft prevention and recognizing potentially unsafe situations, helping students feel more confident and prepared for life on campus.

  • Watch a Puppet Show (Ages 0–5)

  • Experience Storytime in New Ways (Families)

Storytime comes in many forms at Plano Public Library. Families can even enjoy stories, songs and movement in multiple languages, including Chinese, Spanish, Hindi and Urdu, or participate in an adapted storytime designed to support different learning styles and sensory needs. These unique programs help children build early literacy skills while celebrating the diverse communities that make Plano special.
