Toyota Financial Services (TFS) is announced executive changes today, including the advancement of the current group vice president and chief information officer to a newly created role and the appointment of a new employee to fill the position.
Anna Sampang started with Toyota Motor Sales in 1993, following into TFS in 200 and has risen the ranks since to become chief information officer. She is credited with introducing a comprehensive strategy for directing the company’s data and technology investments. Sampang is now transitioning in to the role of chief customer officer.
“Under her guidance, TFS strengthened alignment between business, data, and technology functions, effectively delivering the high-quality solutions that are essential to the company’s future,” a press release stated. “In her new and expanded role, Sampang will be responsible for creating and mobilizing the TFS customer experience strategy in addition to leading the service operations organization. Sampang will also oversee the enterprise efforts to enhance the company’s culture which includes leading and centralizing training and development functions.”
Filling in her footsteps is Madhu Reddy, who comes to TFS from Amazon, where he held a position as general manager of worldwide self-service and automation.
“He is well versed in financial services, having served as managing vice president at Capital One Financial. Earlier, Reddy held senior technology leadership roles at GEP Worldwide and Nielsen,” a press release stated. “He is an accomplished technologist and engineer and has the distinction of holding 23 patents. The TFS data and technology teams will now report to Reddy.”
The executive changes will go into effect March 24. Toyota Financial Services provides credit, offers, vehicle protection plans, insurance, vehicle protection cancellation and Toyota Rewards Visa cards to qualified consumers and is headquartered at Toyota Motor North America at 6565 Headquarters Drive.
