The Collin College Courtyard Center will host an open house and car meet from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Aug 6.  The free event is an opportunity for the community to learn more about the center.

Visitors can check out an array of new and classic cars on hand for the event. Courtyard faculty and staff will be available to discuss course offerings taught by industry experts, flexible schedules with multiple start dates throughout the semester, and a wide variety of courses ranging from professional development and self-improvement to fine arts and the latest technology. Information will also be provided about services available to the community, including career services and course admission.

The Courtyard Center is known primarily as the home of Collin College’s continuing education division.  The center also offers customized business and executive-level training through Collin Corporate College, business development strategy through the Small Business Development Center (SBDC), and courses for lifelong learners who are 55 and older through its Seniors Active in Learning (SAIL) program.

Courses offered through the Courtyard Center include human resources management, computer networking and cybersecurity, web development, business and entrepreneurship, social media marketing, interior design, graphic design, photography, and English as a second language.

The Courtyard Center is located at 4800 Preston Park Blvd. in Plano. For more information, call 972.985.3750 or email ceinfo@collin.edu
