Urban Crust and Urban Seafood Announce Christmas Eve Feast

Urban Crust and Urban Seafood Co. will host a traditional Feast of Seven Fishes Dinner at both restaurants on Christmas Eve.
The Feast of Seven Fishes is a traditional Italian celebration that takes place on Christmas Eve. In Italy, the Feast is known as “La Vigilia”. Typically, Italians drink, eat and celebrate before attending midnight mass. Mirroring Catholic traditions, the Feast of Seven Fishes is a meatless meal. Although there is no conclusive evidence, most Italians agree the number seven was chosen to reflect the seven Sacraments of the Catholic Church.
Urban Family Concept’s Executive Chef and Partner, Salvatore Gisellu began his culinary career in his native Italy back in 1987. After moving to the United States in 1991, he led several of Dallas’ favorite restaurants, including Arcodoro & Pomodoro and Daddy Jack’s Grill before joining the Urban Family Concepts team.
Urban Crust’s menu will feature three specialty courses that can be paired with their fine wine selection. Seating will begin at 3 pm. The dinner is $49.90 per person to attend. Reservations are not available and guests will be served on a first-come, first served basis while supplies last.
Urban Seafood Co.’s menu will feature seven specialty courses. Seating will begin at 5:30 pm and service will commence at 6 pm. The dinner is $125 per person to attend.  A reservation is required for this event.
