Plano West Cheer is headed to the Universal Cheerleaders Association National Tournament

Plano West's performance and game day cheer teams will compete at the Universal Cheerleaders Association National Tournament in February.

Last week, Plano ISD announced that the Plano West Senior High School Cheer Team would advance to the Universal Cheerleaders Association National Tournament in February.

At the recent regional competition, the performance team took home first place, and the game day squad scored above 90%, giving both teams a spot at nationals.

The National Tournament will take place in Orlando on Feb. 26.
