A new upscale Italian restaurant is coming to Plano!

Restaurateur Artur Pira is opening Mangia Bistro at 508 14th St. in East Plano.

The location formally held Pira’s first restuarant, Paesano’s Ristorante which he sold to focus on Aboca’s, reported Culture Map.

Aboca’s serves an extensive menu including pasta, pizza, veal, chicken and seafood. Pira told Culture Map, Mangia Bistro plans to serve a more selective menu and include items, like steak, which you normally would not find at an Italian restaurant. The restaurant will have a full bar unlike Aboca’s which only serves beer and wine.

Mangia will serve lunch and dinner and is expected to open in August.
