Black Rock Coffee Bar, a coffee chain out of Oregon, is opening a fifth DFW location in Plano later this month.

Black Rock serves up iced, hot and chilled coffee and tea options as well as energy drinks.

Some of the shop’s signature drinks include the Caramel Blondie, Irish Coffee, Caramel Truffle, Mexican Mocha, Blackout, Jackhammer and I.V. (The I.V. contains Irish cream, vanilla breve and six espresso shots. Yeah, you read that right. Six.)

“This new store is conveniently located in a high-traffic area right off of highway 75 on W. Parker Road near the Thunderbird Estates neighborhood,” said Jeff Hernandez, co-founder and executive chairman of Black Rock Coffee Bar. “We look forward to serving this community who are juggling between work, home, school and community functions. Our focus is on what the customer needs. It’s about what they want in their daily ritual.”

Black Rock Coffee Bar’s 2,000 square-foot location will feature an industrial design mixed with a large Texas-themed mural. Black Rock Coffee will open at 710 West Parker Road on February 24 with free 16 oz. drinks all day.
