Be the Light Youth Association is a youth-led nonprofit where students band together to ensure all students have access to debate.
Those honored are Imelda Carrasco, Kristy Dellinger, Casey Goodman, Sarah Manthey, Isabel Pawling, Jennifer Shelton & Rebecca Vanderbrook.
Students are encouraged to apply as soon as they can, as applications close on March 8 or after 400 applications are received.

The City of Plano, City of Carrollton, Plano ISD, First United Bank Plano and others will pledge acts of kindness at the event.
The event will feature an interview with Aubrey, food from area restaurants and auctions benefiting the scholarship foundation.
Smith will be returning to Prosper ISD, where he previously worked as assistant athletic director, as the athletic director for the district.
Community meetings are planned for Feb. 10 at Williams High School, March 6 at Clark High School and April 9 at Shepton High School.
The Welcome and Enrollment Center will provide services like family engagement, student services, health and wellness programs, and social services.
