Plano ISD to host job fair for teachers, support staff

On Feb. 24, Plano ISD will host a Teacher and Support Staff Job Fair for those interested in working for the district to learn more about potential paths to employment.

The district boasts a minimum teacher salary of $60,000 for bachelor’s degree holders and $62,000 for master’s degree holders. Other benefits include employee childcare, a two-year campus mentor program, an employee wellness program, CORE Store access for classroom supplies and a district contribution for employee health insurance of $330 per month.

On top of teacher openings, Plano ISD is hiring support staff, which includes positions like classroom assistants, office managers, employee child care workers, campus technology assistants and interpreters. Support staff wages start at $15 per hour with stipends for special education professionals and bilingual applicants.

The job fair will take place on Feb. 24 from 9-11:30 a.m. at Jasper High School located at 6800 Archgate Drive. Those interested in attending can fill out a registration form online.
