Crayola Experience has five entertainment destinations across the U.S., and one of those is located right here in Plano. Starting this week, Crayola is beginning its search to fill the colorful position of “Kid CEO (Chief Experience Officer) for the Day” at each of its locations. Applications will be accepted through April 12, and one lucky kid between the ages of 6 and 12 in the Plano area will be chosen to spend the day providing his or her feedback and recommendations.

The selected Plano CEO for the Day will be responsible for testing and providing feedback on current and future attractions, marketing events, seasonal activities and new products for the store. One of the most important tasks they’ll have that day is naming a limited edition crayon that will be sold in the onsite retail store.

Victoria Lozano, senior vice president and general manager of Crayola Experience said, “We’re looking for creative young leaders who are not afraid to color outside of the lines, are bursting with ideas and are able to represent the Crayola spirit with an engaging personality and a lively imagination. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for aspiring kids to be the boss.”

On top of spending the day as CEO, the winner will receive a prize package valued at $600. It will include a Crayola Experience gift card, four Gold annual passes, a package of Crayola 2020 products that are not yet available to the public and personalized business cards. Each CEO’s school will receive a visit from the Crayola mascot and every student will receive a free admission ticket to Crayola Experience.

If you’d like to apply for your child to be Kid CEO for the Day, please submit a 30-90 second video to showcase your child’s personality. In the video, they’d like your kid to share why he or she is the best choice for the position, and to describe his or her ideas for making Crayola Experience even more fun for other children.

Submit your entry before 11:59PM ET on April 12, 2020. In order to be considered, your child must be between the ages of 6 and 12, and live within 150 miles of Crayola Experience in Plano.
