I Scream Gelato opens Plano location at Granite Park

The national chain opened its first Texas location in Granite Park last week, serving up over 60 gelato flavors.

Frozen treat chain I Scream Gelato opened their first Texas location last week in Granite Park.

I Scream Gelato’s menu features nine vegan sorbet flavors, seven vegan gelato flavors, 62 gelato flavors, milkshakes, smoothies, coffee, tea, hot coffee options, Belgian waffles, bubble waffles, pancakes and plenty of toppings.

With three locations in Colorado, one in Miami, one in Ohio and one in Alabama, this is the chain’s first franchise in the area. According to a press release, onsite chefs create flavors from scratch daily.

“We’re thrilled to introduce I Scream Gelato to the rapidly growing community of Plano,” said I Scream Gelato Plano owner and franchisee Akbar Moolji. “Focused on using fresh, high-quality ingredients from Italy to create our handcrafted desserts, we believe residents and visitors of the region will find there’s nothing quite like the authentic gelato experience I Scream Gelato provides.”

I Scream Gelato is located at 5880 State Highway 121, Suite 102A, and is open Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
