We know Plano's dining scene is diverse - and so are our friends visiting DFW for the World Cup from around the world. Here's where to dine like them.

The World Cup is upon us, and teams are setting up camp in DFW. Teams heading this way include the Netherlands, Japan, England, Croatia, Argentina, Austria, Sweden and Jordan.

If you’re looking for a feel of each team’s culture, Plano’s diverse community provides plenty of opportunity.

AustriaJorg’s Cafe Vienna in Downtown Plano is the only Austrian place you’ll find anywhere around here. Reservations are recommended close to the match.

JapanMitsuwa Marketplace is a Japanese grocery store with a food hall full of Japanese eats. The store even has a map of other Japanese stores and restaurants around the Metroplex. If you’re looking for other places to dine, Uchiko, EBESU and Izakaya are recommended Japanese eateries.

EnglandRingo’s Pub at The Shops at Legacy East is your best bet, though Holy Grail Pub is also European-inspired.

Sweden – Look no further than The Wooden Spoon’s Scandinavian food and gifts before the store is sold and closed. The Swedish team is staying in Frisco and checked it out earlier this week, according to Fox 4.

JordanKarak Tea serves up flatbreads, paratha rolls, tea, smoothies and knafeh, run by Jordanian native Tariq Alkafaween.
