Adult Easter Egg Hunt at Heritage Farmstead Museum

How old were you the last time you hunted Easter eggs? Was Carter in the White House? Then dust off your baskets and come relive your childhood at the 4th annual Adult Easter Egg Hunt hosted by Heritage Farmstead Museum on March 31.

This Easter egg hunt has a twist – the entire event is conducted in the dark. Within the  confines of the historic Farmstead property, participants are encouraged to run wild like heathen children sugared up on chocolate bunnies, elbowing friends out of the way during the fast paced race to hunt eggs.

All of the 4,000+ hidden eggs hold prizes in a wide range of dollar values, ranging from Easter candy to a Kendra Scott necklace to a private wine class for 20 people at Total Wine & More. The eggs are cleverly hidden so not only must participants use speed and stealth, but a good flashlight and comfy shoes are musts. And feel free to dress for the occasion; past participants have worn feather boas and furry bunny ears.

A Plano favorite, the Farmstead’s Adult Easter Egg Hunt is highly anticipated each year. The fun starts at 8pm on Friday, March 31. Wine and light refreshments will be served. Participants must be 21 and up. Buy your tickets in advance, get a group together and show up ready to take out all those whiny brats – I mean, your friends.
