A local pizza chain is headed to Plano with a grand opening on Oct. 12 and a menu that is sure to please Italian food-lovers everywhere.

On Oct. 12, Dough Bro’s Italian Kitchen & Bar is celebrating the grand opening of their new Plano location with free wine and cheese pizza from 6-9 p.m. while supplies last.

Dough Bro’s menu brings casual Italian classics like meatball sandwiches, wings, chicken parmesan, calzones, cannolis and, of course, pizza to the Plano market. The restaurant is known for its “The Bro” pizza, which features marinara, pepperoni, ham, bacon, sausage, mozzarella and parmesan loaded for meat-lovers out there.

The dough from each pizza is made in-house daily with locally sourced honey, topped with seasonal local ingredients for each weekly chef feature, according to Dough Bro’s website.

“Dough Bro’s Plano is in a great location, just south of Park Boulevard on Preston Road, and we’re thrilled to join the neighborhood,” said Dough Bro’s Operating Partner Derek Pope. “We know there are a lot of restaurants in the area, so we’re hoping that diners will give us a chance. Once they try our food, we know they’ll come back.”

The local chain currently has two locations, one on Keller Springs Road in Dallas and one in Bedford. The new restaurant is located in the Preston Park Shopping Center at 1941 Preston Rd, suite 1004 and will be open Monday through Sunday 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
