The first annual Plano Arts Week is kicking off next week with events all over the city, and downtown Plano is ready with a lineup that covers all sorts of art, from dance to symphony to pottery.
In addition to supporting local arts by attending the events and posting about it, one of the events also serves as a fundraiser. Plano Senior High School’s jazz band performance will also serve as a way to raise money for their upcoming “Essentially Ellington” competition at Lincoln Center. Funds raised will go toward travel expenses. Donations are also accepted online.
