Health food chain Flower Child is opening a new location later this year at Preston Park Colonnade Shopping Center.

Popular health-food chain Flower Child is expanding its DFW presence north with a new location to open in Plano in late 2023.

Flower Child is known for its scratch, vegan, vegetarian, paleo and other dietary-restriction-friendly approaches to balanced dishes.

The menu has a variety of options, including soups, salads, premade bowls, build-your-own bowls, wraps and desserts. Those seeking a BYO option choose from a protein and two sides, with protein options like chicken, shrimp, steak, tofu, salmon or veggies and sides like kale salad, gluten-free mac and cheese, roasted broccoli, red chili-glazed sweet potato, organic brown rice, Sichuan green beans and snap peas, cauliflower risotto, fresh fruit, sweet corn and quinoa and smashed gold potato.

Flower Child has five locations in DFW already, with one in Fort Worth, one in Addison and several Dallas locations. The Plano location will be located in the Preston Park Colonnade Shopping Center near Market Street, Nordstrom Rack and Katy Trail Ice House Outpost.

Flower Child will be open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.
