Hat Creek Burger Company, a burger joint known for both its made-to-order burgers and its casual, family-friendly atmosphere, recently opened a new location at 2311 N. Central Expy in Richardson.
Austin resident Drew Gressett owns over 20 Hat Creek Burger Co. locations across Texas, and specifically chose Richardson as the newest location due to the city’s community-centric nature. Drew says the company is all about connecting with the community and families, and he felt that Richardson would be a great fit.
“Our mission is to provide fellowship and fresh cheeseburgers to all who come in contact with Hat Creek,” said Drew. “And our goal is to become the best fast-casual, family-friendly restaurant in the country.”
Aside from its famous burgers, Hat Creek serves hot dogs, salads, chicken and various vegetarian options to accommodate all customers. Guests can also order from a full breakfast menu that includes tacos, platters, pancakes and more from 7-10:30am daily.
In order to promote family-centered outings, Hat Creek celebrates Family Night every Tuesday from 5-9pm when all guests can enjoy half-priced burgers.
Since all locations are built with family in mind, each restaurant has a playscape for children and a covered patio for adults to enjoy a beer or glass of wine while watching their kiddos play.
“As we grow, these three things will never change: Hat Creek will always be a place for good food, good friends and good fun,” said Drew. “It’s that simple.”
Hat Creek Burger Company in Richardson is open 7am-9pm Sunday through Thursday and 7am-9:30pm Friday through Saturday.
