The holiday hunger hunt: Holiday dining specials lineup across Plano

Get in the festive spirit with dining options for Hanukkah and Christmas, with options ranging from Mexican to steak to Italian cuisine.

Thanksgiving is over (fit with a Cowboys win), which officially makes the next month the Holiday season, with Hanukkah fast approaching and Christmas a month out. We’ve compiled a preliminary list of dining specials from across Plano, from specialty dinners to Christmas Day offerings.

Urban Crust will host a Big Reds & Bubbles Wine Dinner on Monday, Dec. 4 at 6:30 p.m. with four chef-prepared courses paired with four wines for $85 per person. Reservations are available online.

Urban Rio is hosting an Ugly Christmas Sweater Cocktail Dinner on Tuesday, Dec. 12 at 6:30 p.m. with four courses paired with holiday cocktails for $70 per person. Reservations are available online. 

Urban Seafood Co. is featuring two pairing dinners this month. The first is a Feast of Seven Fishes Wine Dinner on Dec. 24 at 5:30 p.m. with seven courses paired with Deven wines at $125 per person. On Dec. 31, the restaurant will host a New Year’s Eve Champagne Dinner at 8:30 p.m. with a four-course dinner with bubbly pairings for $95 per person. Reservations are available online.

Mexican Bar Company is hosting a Christmas menu on Dec. 23-24 with four courses at $100 for two or $49 for a single person with three courses. Reservations and private dining options are available online.

Mignon has two holiday menus this season for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Both menus feature three courses at $89.95 per person. Reservations are available online.

Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse is offering a Christmas feature menu with Wagyu Chateaubriand, a 12 oz. herb-roasted Westholme Wagyu tenderloin, A5 Kobe Tallow and caviar butter. The feature is available from Dec. 22 – Jan. 1 along with featured cocktail Santa’s Sleigh Ride, which includes Jack Daniel’s, Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey, fresh orange juice and mulled wine, and a featured wine. Reservations are available online.

Eatzi’s is offering a Hanukkah and a Christmas menu again this year. The Hanukkah menu features traditional eats like matzo ball soup, latkes, challah and dozens of other options with online ordering available through Dec. 14. The Christmas menu features Southern favorites like macaroni and cheese, green bean casserole, ham and turkey with online ordering available through Dec. 23.

Ebb & Flow is open from 11 a.m. – 2 a.m. on Christmas Day.

Suburban Yacht Club is hosting a pop-up through Jan. 7 with featured holiday cocktails in ceramic holiday mugs, kids’ hot chocolate in a souvenir mug, tamales and churros.
