Legacy West unveils Partners Card benefitting The Family Place

This weekend through Nov. 5, purchase a Partners Card online and shop at participating stores and all proceeds will go to The Family Place.

Legacy West shopping center has launched the Partners Card, a program where shoppers who use the card at participating locations will have 100% of their purchase to supporters of family violence and the services at The Family Place.

Shoppers can purchase the card and use it from Oct. 27 to Nov. 5 at participating stores, including Coach, Levi’s, Peter Millar, Pockets, Read Between the Lines, Tommy Bahama, Tory Burch and Tumi.

Cards can be purchased online. Each card is $75, with additional donations accepted.

According to Legacy West, a $75 Partners Card pays for one night of safety for a victim of family violence at The Family Place shelters, and 100% of a Partners Card purchase goes directly to supporting survivors of family violence and the services of The Family Place.

The Partners Card program started in 1993 with 175 participating stores benefitting The Family Place. Now, the program comes with a mobile app and e-commerce, making it easier for businesses to partner with the program.

The Family Place works with survivors of family violence by providing safe housing, counseling and life skills. Created in 1978, The Family Place is the largest family violence service provider in Texas, with three emergency shelters providing 136 shelter beds each night, including the state’s only shelter for men and children and three counseling centers.
