La La Land Kind Cafe is celebrating Foster Care Awareness month with volunteering and donation opportunities through the La La Land Foundation.

Today, all La La Land Kind Cafe locations celebrated “Blue Cup” Day by giving away a free, limited edition blue, reusable cup with each purchase of a signature beverage. From now until May 12, 10% of all signature drink sales will be donated to the La La Land Foundation to support the La La Land Workforce Development and other initiatives.

“From the beginning, La La Land was founded on spreading kindness in our community, and we are thrilled to launch the La La Land Foundation to continue this work,” said La La Land Kind Café founder Francois Reihani. “Tied to Foster Care Awareness Month we want to invite our guests to join us in volunteering their time and talents to brighten and enrich the lives of these deserving young adults.”

The La La Workforce Development Program provides a 12-week paid internship for foster youth ages 16-24 who are transitioning out of the foster care system. Foster youth interested in the internship program can apply online.

La La Land guests can also help by making comfort kits at participating La La Land locations or donating via the La La Land Foundation Amazon Wish List.
